Danielle Wimer
M.Ed, MS
I am a compassionate counselor dedicated to providing a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space for individuals ages 12 and up. I believe therapy should feel welcoming and collaborative, and my goal is to walk alongside you as you navigate life’s challenges.
I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lock Haven University with a specialized focus on Military and Veteran populations. I also hold a Master’s degree in Education from Clarion University of Pennsylvania.
I use a variety of evidence-based approaches tailored to each person’s unique needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client-Centered Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). For those who desire it, I am also pleased to offer faith-based Christian counseling.
I have extensive experience supporting individuals living with disabilities, chronic health conditions, and Lyme disease. I am passionate about helping clients find hope, strength, and meaning through adversity, while empowering them to heal and thrive.
If you’re looking for a caring and understanding therapist, I would be honored to work with you.
